Please Note:

All dahlia tubers ship from late-March to early May, as allowed by weather and climate. 

Care and Growing Instructions:

Tubers should be planted after risk of frost or freezing temperatures. Plant dahlias 18" apart, in full sun. Avoid overwatering after planting -- tubers may be prone to rot at this stage! Begin a regular watering schedule once shoots are visible, increasing as weather warms and plants become larger. For the healthiest plants and most prolific flower production, keep fully clear of weeds and competing vegetation, and mulch as soon as all shoots are clearly visible. Stems should be pinched when the plant is 12" high, to stimulate additional side shoots and increased flower production. Plants should be trellised at 12-16".
